The cardiostrong Elliptical Cross Trainer EX60 concentrates on fitness training: Few cross trainers (and no other in this price range) offer such a great training experience in such a small space. This is provided by 4 features:

The construction

The advantage of cross trainers with the flywheel in the back is their small set-up space. It might be at the expense of the movement: the movement ellipse is a bit larger. That's not the case for the cardiostrong Elliptical Cross Trainer EX60! Due to a special construction of the joints in the front of the machine, the ellipsis of the movement remains flatter than for other similar machines. A second flywheel is built in the front to make the movement very smooth. In addition, the entry height is very low. This gives two decisive advantages: getting on is easier and the height while exercising is lower. That means: the cardiostrong Elliptical Cross Trainer EX60 can be used by tall people in facilities with lower roofs.

The adjustability

The cardiostrong Elliptical Cross Trainer EX60 is not just a fitness machine for ambitious home users but actually a machine for the whole family of any age. This becomes clear with the individual adjustability of the cross trainer. The treads are adjustable in three steps horizontally, the pendulum arms are adjustable in four steps vertically. Thus, the cross trainer can be ideally adjusted to the user’s height and the movement can be varied. This is essential for a high training comfort! As the perspective to the console changes depending upon different heights, the display is tiltable and easy to read from every angle!

The brake system

The heart of the resistance system is a maintenance- and wear-free magnetic brake. The resistance is controlled precisely via the training computer. Each program offers 16 resistance levels. Performance ranges from gentle rehab sport to intense cardio training.

The magnetic brake operates on the 12 kg flywheel. The mass has become more or less unimportant. It is more important that it is a high-speed flywheel. The high torque provides a comfortable and smooth movement without load peaks. This feels better and is also better for the joints and ligaments.

The frame is in precious black, the powder varnish is not only hard-wearing but also offers an elegant finish of the cardiostrong Elliptical Cross Trainer EX60. The ends of the handles have special features as well: horizontal handles are mounted. When you use those while exercising, the back is better trained throughout the training.

Sehr guter Crosstrainer

Habe jetzt nur einen vergleich zu einem Elipsentrainer in einem Fiitnessstudio aber der Rundlauf des CST-EX 60 ist deutlich schonender und angenehmer. Kommt dem normalen Laufen/Joggen nahe. Super mit 2 Schwungscheiben. Ebenso ein hochwertig erscheinende Verarbeitung. Das Gerät ist sehr laufruhig und hat für unsere Bedürfnisse ausreichend Programme. Meine Frau und ich nutzen das Gerät 5-7 x / Woche für bis zu 60 Minuten und es hält bis jetzt tadellos. Das seit knapp 7 Monaten. Ich habe angeschlagene Knie und musste deswegen das Laufen draußen aufgeben. Mit diesem gerät bis zu 30km Distanz / Woche (also 3 x 10 km mit 40 -150 Watt) problemlos möglich ohne Glenkbeschwerden. Sehr gutes Ganzkörpertraining. Gutes Ausdauertraining. Gute Verstellmöglichkeiten. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Gerät bis hier nach knapp 7 Monaten. Hatte 4 Monate davor das Indoorbike Taurus Z9 gekauft (beide Geräte mit Garantieverlängerung) und hier gab es leider eine Reklamation. Wurde aber zur vollsten Zufriedenheit von Fitshop und dem Reparaturservice (Dienstleister für FitShop = sehr Empfehlenswert) behoben. Somit kann ich auch hier beim 4 Gerät von FitShop alles nur positiv erwähnen. ... [Read more]

Dieser Crosstrainer ermöglicht ein gelenkschonendes Training für Ober- und Unterkörper zugleich. Die elliptische Bewegung reduziert Stoßbelastungen und eignet sich daher gut für regelmäßige Ausdauereinheiten. Verschiedene Widerstandsstufen sorgen für Trainingsvielfalt.

Ich bin sehr begeistert. Die verstellbaren Handgriffe ermöglichen ein Training auch bei meiner kleinen Körpergröße. Ich finde den Rundlauf wirklich erwähnenswert. Noch nie habe ich mich so gut nach einem Training gefühlt.

Ich bin voll zufrieden mit dem Gerät für den Preis. Es ist nicht so riesig wie die anderen Geräte, solange man mit dem Pedalabstand klar kommt, ist es optimal. Die geteilte Schwungmasse hinten und vorne führt zu einem sehr ruhigen und angenehmen Rundlauf und es bleibt trotzdem leise!
